MEDLINETEC has successfully tested its real-time patient monitoring system, at a distance of 17,000 kilometers.
The test consisted of real-time monitoring and control, from Valencia (Spain), of various medical parameters of a patient in Sydney (Australia).
The MEDLINECARE system applied at home allows critical patients to live at home and be monitored by a doctor in hospital in real time. Currently, the system is only used with patients and doctors in the same country, but this result opens up the possibility of continuous monitoring of international patients. In this way, Medical Online Technology – MEDLINETEC is able to facilitate the continuous monitoring and control of patients abroad, as well as the supervision and control of foreign patients by doctors in their country of origin.
